Since every cake made at The Cake Art Studio is an individual creation, exact prices cannot be given. The final price of your cake will be determined by the flavor and design of the cake.

Tiered cakes are priced per portion. The standard portion is 1"x2"x4"h. The minimum price is $3.50pp for a buttercream cake decorated with a piped design. Many of our customers spend between $5—$6 pp on their customized cakes.

Single cakes and 3-dimensional/carved cakes are not priced per portion but are priced per cake.

Yes. You can contact The Cake Art Studio for a free tasting/consultation for any cake serving more than 50 people. If your cake will serve less than 50 people, but will have a very intricate design, you may need to set up a consultation.

Since many venues/caterers have cakes included in their wedding package, you must have a venue and caterer booked before making a wedding cake consultation appointment at The Cake Art Studio.

Due to space limitations, we ask that you bring no more than 4 people to the consultation.

Since we have a large and varied menu, and do many consultations each week, we cannot accommodate specific flavor requests for your tasting. We will offer you a nice cross-section of our flavors which will give you a good idea of the style and quality of our cakes.

If you'd like to try a specific flavor not offered on the tasting, or would like to request a custom flavor not on the menu, you can order a small tasting cake for $30.

We book strictly on a first-come, first-serve basis. Generally, brides schedule their initial consultation at least 3-6 months before their wedding date. We will book cakes up to one year in advance.

For wedding cakes, a deposit of 1/3 the estimated price of your cake ($100 minimum) is required to book your date. The deposit is non-refundable and not transferable to another date.

For occasion cakes, a 50% deposit is required to book your date. The deposit is non-refundable and not transferable to another date.

Delivery is available and highly recommended for large, multi-tier, and intricately decorated cakes. We deliver within 1 hour of Paoli, PA. Delivery charges are based on round-trip mileage plus time.

Delivery is free for cakes over $300 within 5 miles of The Cake Art Studio and for cakes over $500 within 10 miles. The Cake Art Studio does not set up or decorate the cake table. If special set ups are needed an additional charge may apply.

During our slower seasons (generally Jan-March and July-August) we may require a $150 minimum on a cake order. During our busier seasons, if we are already making cakes it is usually not a problem to add a smaller, non-custom cake to our schedule.
